Only 10 days to go!! Travel companions arrive in CT on May 5. We all head for the airport May 8 for a long overseas flight. Then the adventure begins. I can't believe we have been planning this for two years, since Alaska in June of '06. And now it's just about here.Things to do now that the time is upon us:
- lay out the wardrobe to see if it'll pack in one bag (make sure the guys have black jeans)
- get euros at bank (bring wheelbarrow with dollars)
- start garden withdrawal therapy (plants will do what they do without us for 2 weeks)
- get cat sitter for M & M, and figure out where Max will stay
- check current weather in Holland and Scotland, and start obsessing about it
- invite Elaine & Rich over for dinner before we all leave (May 6)
- learn Dutch
